Emergency Medical Technicians provide out of hospital emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical services (EMS) system. EMTs have the basic knowledge and skills necessary to stabilize and safely transport patients ranging from non-emergency and routine medical transports to life threatening emergencies. Emergency Medical Technicians function as part of a comprehensive EMS response system, under medical oversight. Emergency Medical Technicians perform interventions with the basic equipment typically found on an ambulance. Emergency Medical Technicians are a critical link between the scene of an emergency and the health care system.

This is a hybrid class, where students will study at home and then meet once a week to discuss, learn, and reinforce hands-on skills, answer questions, and prepare the students for the rigorous testing process and life of a professional Emergency Medical Technician. Registration: Click here to view and register for upcoming courses. When registering online you will be prompted for a $150.00 deposit to hold your spot. This deposit will be applied to your course tuition. The remainder of the tuition will be due on the first day of class. You can also fill out a registration packet and make your first payment in person at our headquarters at 2830 Ferne Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89104. Once your payment goes through, your place in class will then be reserved.

This is done to make sure you place in class is reserved, and that all your clinical paperwork is explained and processed. Your uniform order will also be submitted at the same time in order to ensure you are prepared for your first day of class. Payment: The total cost of the course is $1450.

If needed, uniform pants, boots, belt ($150.00)
If needed, immunizations, including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella (estimated cost $300.00)

Statement on Criminal Convictions: If you have a prior felony or misdemeanor, you may not be eligible for certification from the Southern Nevada Health District or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). In addition, our clinical sites may not allow you to complete your training. Please speak with our Training Department prior to registration if you have a misdemeanor or a felony about your individual situation.
